Affiliate Partner Guidelines

BARBARIAN GOLD® works with selected creators, publishers, athletes, coaches, and community builders who recommend with care, trust, and a professional standard. These guidelines explain how affiliate applications are reviewed and what standards apply before promotion begins.

1. Application and approval

Submitting an application does not create an affiliate relationship and does not guarantee acceptance. Every application is reviewed manually. A person or business becomes an approved affiliate only after written confirmation from BARBARIAN GOLD® and, where needed, completion of the next setup steps.

We may approve, reject, pause, or end an affiliate relationship where legally permitted, especially if the applicant, traffic source, content environment, or promotional method does not fit the brand or creates legal, reputational, security, or fraud risk.

2. Who can apply

• Creators, influencers, publishers, athletes, coaches, newsletter owners, website operators, or community builders with a public profile, website, newsletter, or comparable platform.
• Applicants whose audience, values, and content style fit BARBARIAN GOLD® and serious training culture.
• Applicants who can provide authentic proof of reach, engagement, audience fit, or previous collaboration quality.

3. Proof and review

Applicants should provide public profile or website links, audience size, engagement information, audience location, relevant content examples, collaboration history, and a short explanation of why their audience would genuinely connect with BARBARIAN GOLD®.

Do not submit private audience lists, private messages, customer data, passwords, login details, confidential third-party data, or unnecessary personal data. Public profile and website links are usually enough for the first review.

4. Commission

Approved affiliate partners can receive a 10% commission on eligible referred sales. The commission is calculated exclusively on the product price actually paid by the customer after deduction of all discounts, including VAT and excluding shipping charges, unless a different written agreement applies.

Commission is only considered for valid, trackable, qualifying sales. Orders that are cancelled, returned, refunded, charged back, fraudulent, self-referred, incorrectly attributed, or generated through prohibited activity are excluded. Payout timing, payout method, thresholds, and tax documentation may be defined in the written approval, affiliate tool, or separate agreement.

5. Advertising disclosure

Affiliates must clearly disclose affiliate links, discount codes, paid collaborations, gifted products, commission-based recommendations, and other commercial relationships wherever required by applicable law and platform rules.

For Germany and the EU, affiliate links and codes must be transparent to the audience. The disclosure should be clear, easy to notice, and placed close to the link, code, or recommendation. Affiliates remain responsible for checking the rules that apply to their own country, platform, and content format.

6. Prohibited activity

• No fake followers, bots, fake engagement, spam, misleading traffic, forced clicks, cookie stuffing, self-referrals, fraudulent orders, or artificial attribution.
• No misleading claims about product effects, performance guarantees, medical benefits, availability, prices, discounts, or urgency.
• No unauthorized paid ads, search ads, domain names, social handles, or profiles using BARBARIAN GOLD® trademarks, brand names, misspellings, or confusingly similar terms.
• No offensive, illegal, discriminatory, adult, violent, hateful, unsafe, or brand-damaging content environments.
• No resale, impersonation, unauthorized customer support, or statements that make the affiliate appear to be an employee, representative, or official spokesperson of BARBARIAN GOLD®.

7. Brand assets and content

BARBARIAN GOLD® names, logos, images, product photos, copy, and brand assets may only be used in the way approved by us. We may request edits or removal of content that is inaccurate, misleading, outdated, legally risky, or inconsistent with the brand.

8. Security rules for applications

Do not send files, attachments, ZIP folders, executable files, cloud download links, or links that require login. Do not ask BARBARIAN GOLD® to open unknown downloads. Public profile links, website links, portfolio links, and short written summaries are sufficient for the first review.

If additional verification is needed, BARBARIAN GOLD® will define a safer review method. Suspicious, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive applications may be ignored, deleted, or blocked.

9. Data protection and confidentiality

Application data is used to review fit, communicate about the application, prevent abuse, manage approved partnerships, and document decisions where needed. The Affiliate Application Privacy Notice explains this processing in more detail.

Applicants should only submit information necessary for the review and should not submit third-party personal data unless they are legally allowed to do so.

Confidential information, unpublished terms, private codes, internal materials, and non-public brand assets must not be shared publicly unless BARBARIAN GOLD® has given written permission.
